A match made in fashion heaven

A few weeks ago I talked about the beauty of the Herm├Ęs Kelly Pochette on one of my Christmas lists posts, and mentioned how much I loved mine. Whilst it is not an exotic, I love the smoothness of the swift calf leather it is made of, and it is very special, particularly as it was gifted to me by my ever so generous parents.

I think this is the perfect evening bag, as it has enough room to fit a blackberry, a couple of make up items, some Hollywood tape for wardrobe malfunction emergencies, and even a small wallet. I also love that it is hand-held, and doesn't have a strap, given that I don't particularly fancy the look of long straps on evening bags. My Kelly Pochette is Prune with gold hardware, and it goes perfectly with loads of colours, especially winter ones, making it a very versatile piece. I've worn it to four out of the last five evening events I went to.

My favourite combination for this little baby is to use it with my Decocolico Louboutin pumps, which are also plum but suede. I bought these in 37 when I am actually a 36.5, to allow for any feet swelling when standing for hours on end. They are as comfortable as shoes this high will get, but get compliments everywhere I go.

Throw in the DvF A/W2009 kimono wrap dress in velvet I was raving about back in October and which I finally got, and I'm ready to enjoy myself on a night out!
