These are not just jeans, these are Goldsign jeans... purr

I stand corrected! A while back I professed my love for J Brand jeans and I still love them for everyday use, but I have recently discovered a brand which has changed my approach to jeans forever. I used to hate flying in skinny jeans, especially long-haul, but now I can't seem to get out of my Goldsign Stretch Misfit Skinnies. Instead of making me feel like I am bursting at the seams for all the discomfort, my Goldsigns have a knack to tuck everything in neatly without making me feel squeezed like an orange at 6am.

I came across Goldsign during a recent trip to Trilogy, which, together with Donna Ida, is my other go-to shop for all things denim in London. I tried these on and oh-miracle: the stretch and cut make my legs look slimmer AND longer (trust me, you need a truly magical pair of trousers to do that to them, or miraculous, whichever you believe in!), the high placement of the pockets creates a bottom lifting effect and the extra stretchiness means I could practice yoga in them! Oh, and tucking them into boots is super easy... they are really the perfect skinny jeans.

In fact, these jeans are so fantastic it's as if Mary Poppins herself had created them with people like me in mind. They are made of 25% Cupro which makes them super comfy and soft. I haven't looked back ever since I bought them, and now I'm looking out for a new colour to buy them in. Maybe a faded blue?

The only sticking point is their price: these babies retail for around £200 in London.... Ouch! But since buying them I've worn then a dozen times already, and I am finding it tough to wear any other skinny jeans since then...

I'll have to give them a try when I head back to London next time. It's really hard to find a pair of skinny jeans that fit those who are vertically challenged (moi!) and are not exactly model skinny. Love your blog! Can't wait to see what you write next.

How do the Misfits compare to J brand sizewise? Just bought my first J Brand cigarette legs, but am still yearning for some cool skinnies. I get so many great ideas from your blog, thank you!

They are stretchier so I use the same size to one size smaller.
