The Enchanted Palace

Thanks to the suggestion of one of my adorable friends, this week-end I will be visiting the new exhibition at Kensington Palace, called the Enchanted Palace. Have you been to see it yet?

According to the reviews I've read so far and the website for the event, it will be staged around the lives of seven princesses who lived in Kensington Palace, whose identities the visitors have to discover on the basis of clues scattered around the hidden corners of the State Apartments.

The installations are supposed to be really good, having been created by famous designers including Vivienne Westwood, William Tempest, Stephen Jones, Boudicca, Aminaka Wilmont and Echo Morgan.

Afterwards, we'll be popping in for tea at the Orangery, which is worth the visit for itself! I totally recommend it for lunch and tea, the decor is fabulous and the meringues with berries and cream are totally to die for!

*** Monday update *** The verdict is a bit mixed I have to say. I loved the atmosphere of the exhibit and the Vivienne Westwood dress was to die for. Also adored the dress by Echo Morgan. The rest I'm not 100% sure about. I think it would have been more to the taste of a 13-year old me...
