Bringing boho to babies: Caramel Baby & Child

When it comes to Monsieur Baby's style, I am extremely lucky in that London offers plenty of options, and my travels give me access to many European boutiques... Nonetheless, quite often I find that baby clothes fall into one of two categories: the sloaney-preppy-BCBG peter pan collars and argylle checks on one side, and on the other the over-captioned "funny" ("My mum is hot", "Lock your daughters", etc, need I say more?) onesies or tees made of dubious quality cotton.

Thankfully, there are a few wonderful places that I have discovered these last few months and which offer a far more attractive range: Caramel Baby & Child is one of them. The have gorgeous baby clothes which suits my style perfectly!

I love their really soft materials and the boho vibe of their range, as well as their retro colours such as teal blue, slate grey etc. The baby clothes are modern yet adorable, and they have an almost equal offering between girls and boys, something that is rarely the case in children clothing boutiques. You won't find sparkly pink tops or prissy starched shirts here, just a gorgeous collection of easily mixed separates, as well as a cool offering of room accessories for the nursery. I also love their knitwear range, which I'll be stocking up on from next month on, preparing for next winter...
