J.Crew... finally on a computer screen near you

Since the end of August, UK fashionistas have access to the full collection of J.Crew through a dedicated shopping site. I've been waiting for this for at least five years, and so have all my friends and family members who have travelled to NY with endless lists detailing the item references, sizes, colours and alternative selections if my preferred choices weren't available at the flaship store by the Rockefeller Centre! I'm hopelessly in love with their cashmere tees and can't get enough of their printed skirts and dresses, and don't even get me started on their accessories!

Recently their designs have become even more desirable, with amazing partnerships across the collections (check out their Globe-Trotter suitcase collection, totally drool-worthy). I just couldn't help myself and ordered a few AW2011 tidbits when we came back from our summer holidays: a cashmere tee-shirt and a chunky knit jumper for me, and a nice sweater for Hubby Dearest. I can't wait for Monsieur Baby to be big enough to start wearing their children collection, there is a little city peacoat that I think would be perfect for Winter 2012!

I think they could do better on prices which are somewhat expensive in British Pounds when compared to the Dollar amounts, and I inititally got a bit put off (for half a second at most...!) by the cost of shipping however the wonderful news is that they offer free delivery to UK addresses until October 31st!

Now, here's to hoping they open a physical shop really soon,...

J.Crew is available online only for UK customers, on http://www.jcrew.com/

The Crewcuts (the kids' collection) always seems to have so many cute things!
