Sales shopping (3): Issa panel dress with cutouts

My favourite outfit for a day at the office is a great dress, a pair of sky-high heels and a statement handbag. It works on so many levels: I can get dressed without thinking too much about it (a key argument as I get dressed for work at the quite ungodly hour of 6am, it's a miracle that I never turned up in my PJs...), it is a one piece outfit so no need to combine colours or fabrics, all I need are accessories and sometimes a coat, and it's a look that works better from day to evening (I find trousers looks a little less easy to adapt for a stop for girlie drinks en route to Monsieur Baby's bedtime).

So it's no wonder I immediately fell in love with this fabulous dress by Issa the second I saw it. It is my ideal dress: grey (so easy to mix with colours or neutrals), with sleeves (great for office), with a 1950s style flare that's so flattering... And I love the little stitched cutouts, it gives this dress a unique look.

I got lucky this week when My Theresa included it in the sale, and was quick to snap it in my size! It's down to £379 from £539! Find it here: Issa Cutouts Dress
