A quick shopping spree on Pavilion Road

I love week-ends with my little family, we get to indulge in all of our favourite activities: Monsieur Baby and I go swimming together, I squeeze in a little Xtend class at Heartcore, we have breakfast together at the kitchen table before going out to buy our bouquet of the week, Hubby Dearest goes for a round of golf with his friends, we go for a tour of the playground, and, sometimes, we even find time for a quick dash to the shops for some retail therapy!

So really, I'm not one of those new mammas who think that they don't have time to do anything anymore, it's quite the contrary in my case: it's as if we made a conscious choice since Monsieur Baby's arrival to have even fuller week-ends. Of course this means Hubby Dearest and I are positively exhausted, running around all the time and trying to do a million things, but life has never been so full or fun, so I guess I'll keep guzzling on the vitamins to do all the things that make my two leading men and me happy.

Today, Monsieur Baby had his tour of the park and a nap and then, the weather was so nice out that we decided to go out to one of the most dangerous streets for my wallet: Pavilion Road, just off Sloane Square. It's a neat little pedestrian street lined with some lovely shops, from classical The White Company to Kate Spade's recently opened first London boutique, where you'll find a wide selection of the designer's zesty-coloured accessories and preppy fashion.

I come here all the time to check out the new arrivals at Caramel Baby & Child and stock up on some boho fashion for Monsieur Baby, who today got a couple of new trousers for Spring and yet another oh-so-soft envelope collar tee-shirt. This is also the street I'd rush to in my pregnant days when I needed a stylish little number and only something from 9 London would do... Today I'm not expecting anymore, but with a tropical vacation looming I popped into Heidi Klein where I chose a new Eres swimsuit and some Castaner wedge sandals in bright colours.

We got a few home essentials from The White Company, where the Spring range of candles is absolutely scrumptious! Then on to admire VV Rouleaux's window displays, I love this haberdashery shop, it's the one shop I come to when I want to customise a top or make a unique corsage.

Thankfully we didn't venture out to nearby jewellery shops Kiki Mcdonough or Annoushka, so it wasn't such an expensive afternoon after all!
