Friday's MyTheresa lust-have

The days go by, and London temperatures continue anchored around the 10°C  (50°F)... Soon I will give up and beg Hubby Dearest to bring my winter clothes down from storage for a new seasons change-over, even though it was only a couple of weeks ago that he so devotedly helped me haul all my cashmeres and woollies up. It's positively freezing!

So, whilst shop floor drops seem to be made of flimsy summer dresses, petulant coloured shorts and other bikinis, honestly the only thing I feel like buying is coats. Coats, coats and more coats... You saw my post on summer coats earlier this week, well sorry to write again about the same theme, but this week's lust-have is, you guessed it, a coat. Well at least I'm not dreaming about buying a snug rug (google it, it is the least stylish thing you can imagine)...

It won't come as a surprise to anyone that I adore Burberry coats, my AW2011 investment coat was a trench-like wool piece from their collection, and I have worn my vintage mac for over a decade and I still love it! I love that their designs are so timeless and yet there is a little twist in each model. (A little hint for the guys reading this blog: a Burberry coat is one of the few ideal gifts for a girlfriend, it shows you know style and value quality, and that you are not shy about spending some money on the lady, a winner!)

What I love about this one is the ethnic feel that comes with the removable woven collar strip, but also ruffled hem which is a cool twist on the classic mac, and those over-sized pockets are just delish! This is, undoubtedly, the perfect Spring to Autumn coat, don't you think?
