A name for your bathroom: Soapsmith

When my good friend Samantha founded Soapsmith, a luxury brand providing handcrafted soaps, bath and body products inpired by London, I knew this was bound to be something good. You see, Samantha is one of those special people who combines a strong hard-working personality with an eye for luxury and quality that means that whatever project she launches herself on to, she quickly gets a following of knowing and loyal customers.

Imagine my excitement when she sent me a sample box to try out... Crafted in London by a team of skilled soap artisans (soapsmiths!), the collection caters for a diversity of tastes, with products named after some of the city's key landmarks. If you like the calming scent of lavender then Lavender Hill is for you, but if you prefer a more spicy mix you'll love Marble Arch, with notes of vanilla, tonka bean and orange.

I litterally melted when I tried out the Lavender Hill bath soak, a wonderful and new take on scented bath salts... Followed by a butter massage on the roughest areas which instantly go from dry to soft and perfectly touchable, and my Soapsmith experience is a must-have for relaxing on Sunday evenings, before the mad rush of my working week... In fact, I'm thinking a box-set of these products will be a great new mum present idea!

You can find Soapsmith products at Harrods, and for a full list of stockists click here.
