It's time for the Sunday fashion confession

I love a little animal print... but so far I didn't have any jumper with a full on animal-print and lately I was feeling this was a crucial gap in my wardrobe (no, it didn't keep me up at night, but close, close!)...

But see, I didn't want any animal-print jumper, I needed something quite specific:
1) A crew-neck, not a cardi, not a v-neck;
2) I wanted neutral colours, not some acid-fuelled pink leopard or blue tiger;
3) I needed a soft knit with a little bit of cashmere but still light-enough to wear in Autumn.

And... so, after a little Internet traipsing, here is what I found, isn't it perfect?

I'm totally in love with it and can see it has so much potential. I'll mix it with black trousers, sky-high heels, and a classic coat for work, my black skinnies for date night with Hubby Dearest, or some boyfriend jeans and some velvet slippers for Sunday brunch. What do you think?

Oh, and here's the link to it: Whistles Cheetah-print jumper at Atterley Road.

It's PERFECT. I'm so relieved for you that this crucial gap in your wardrobe has been filled...just so there's no risk of you lying awake at night over it. ;) LOL Thanks for the chuckle. I do know what you mean, though; I get a bee in my bonnet sometimes and nothing will do but to hunt down whatever it is and solve.the.problem.

Thanks Pam! Yes fashion finds aren't really keeping me awake but it's fun to find the perfect top!

I used to hate animal print, ( all the busty blonde barmaid connotations) but I'm coming round to it, and I love cheetahs.

You're right - I think that this type of jumper is pretty universal for any outfit. I would wear this with dark brown trousers and beige high heels. It would look amazing. :)
I really like your blog, I will visit more often :)
Have a nice day :)

Ah animal print. It used to be on my over-my-dead-body list but I have come around to it. it took some time to break from the horror memories of mid 80s tacky egyptian soaps type of fashion ;)
I love that jumper - beautifully soft, understated chic with a hint of wild from that cheetah print love it.
It can indeed be paired with endless looks but somehow I keep having "red" flashing in my mind. But red as in an accessory like a fine belt or heels or bags...to bring up some of that wildness :)
have fun!

Thanks ladies... @Hind I am wearing the jumper today and I'm thinking maybe some red heels would be nice!
