Me, I'd rather browse from the comfort of my garden, airport lounge chair, sofa, and order in. It's so perfect! Especially when you have amazing websites such as Net-A-Porter, with their superbly edited collections. Who needs to go shopping when you can just click. And what's even better is how most websites now allow you to build a wishlist as the season progresses, so it's easy to put pieces there that you would like to buy in the sale. That's a strategy I use so it's not difficult to shop the sale once it's open and there's me and thousands of browsers on line on the day...

1. Roksanda Ilincic Brooke skirt
2013 is the year I've decided to challenge my usual wedding guest sartorial self. I'm going to try to break my usual dress plus fab accessories routine with some separates, and this flared skirt is girly yet dressed-up enough. I'm going to try it with a white button down and some fab silver sandals for a cocktail.
2. Étoile Isabel Marant Daryl dress
I fell in love with this dress at first click... made of super light silk bourette with gorgeous embroidery, this is perfect for lazy summer days in the garden and walks on a Mediterranean beach. It's being all sold out everywhere might however be an indication that I will likely encounter some twins on the streets this summer, and frankly, it's such a perfect piece, I don't care!
Voila. You know what else I like to buy in the sales? Lingerie and workout gear. I am off to see if I can find some Stella McCartney leggins. Will report back soon. Happy sales shopping everyone!
