The Lilac Pages giveaway: Embroidered Beulah shawl

Hello dear friends... The last few days have been marked by very sad news in my family, and blogging felt a bit difficult. But today I reminded myself that, with loss, it's important to cry after someone leaves us, but it's as important to smile for having met them and shared if only a few brief happy moments, hang on to those who are dear to us, and celebrate life.

It's exactly what I'm planning to do more of going forward. That, my dear readers, is my pre-Christmas resolution. Starting with a little giveaway to get you all in the festive spirit.

Last week, the Beulah girls sent me the shawl I'd ordered, a Painted Lady blue and grey beauty embroidered with the quote I had selected: Keep your heels, head and standards high. And guess what? The impossibly sweet ladies sent me a second shawl, a black heart print Shibani, with the same quote embroidered in silver thread... So of course I thought of doing a little giveaway!

The shawl is made of light silk and wool modal, which feels super soft, and measures 230cm x 192cm. The heart print is in black anbd white, and the embroidery is in silver thread. Want this beauty in your wardrobe? Just read the rules for entry below!

Who can enter?
Anyone and everyone is welcome.

How will the winner be picked?
I will, once more, resort to Random.org to get the winner.

When will the winner receive the prize?
ASAP after sending me their address, Royal Mail permitting.

Good luck everyone! And remember, if you can't wait to see if you won this gorgeous shawl, or if you want a different quote, you can order your own Shibani shawl on Beulah's website: Beulah Personalised Scarves.

UPDATE: With a small delay I'm delighted to announce the winner of this giveaway, Lattes And  Juice!

Sorry to hear about your loss. I just lost a close one recently too, and it still stings.

But the whole episode has taught me a lot. So now, I'm looking forward to better health for all those around me, and more good times with my family.

Take care!

Is it wrong that I don't have anything on my Xmas list? All I look forward to is time off from work with the husband and baby!

Truly sorry to hear about your sad news… We should all keep in mind how precious are the moments we so often take for granted, each and one of us busy with our hectic lives. My Christmas wish list surely includes Prada and Hermes, but it has on top some time with my family, hopefully blessed with health and love. Some sunshine, too, maybe?

My sincere condolences to you and your family, Sandra. Right now it must feel like the sadness will never go away, but with time you will look back at the wonderful memories with that person and feel fortunate to have had him/her in your life and strive to live without regret.

My deepest condolences to you and your family. You are absolutely correct in celebrating their life and how lucky we were to have them in our life even if it was briefly. May you find comfort in your memories.

My wish this Christmas is to save enough money to take my twin sister to London in the New Year. She has been wanting to go back for years but sadly was unable to fly due to medical issues.

Great Scarf!!

Best, Mree

I am so sorry for your loss. Friends and family are the most important things in our lives.
For the holidays, I truly just wish for health, happiness and relaxation for myself and my dear ones. If I could wish for a bonus though, it would be a pretty little clutch to go with my new Milli Millu bags =)

The loss of someone is always hard but its important to carry on. I've lost a couple of very important people in the last few years and could easily have gone to a dark place but it doesn't help anyone. So thanks for sharing and remember it always gets easier, you never forget but it does get easier.

And my Christmas list: Anything pretty that I don't need!

Sorry for your loss. I know how difficult it can be, especially with the holidays approaching. As for my Christmas wish list, first and foremost is health and happiness for all my family and friends. As for me, I would like to find Mr. Right. A nice fuzzy coat would be a close second! Haha
